The 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers' Meeting was held on 12-13 June 2026 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, under India's 2026 BRICS Presidency.
The meeting unanimously adopted the 'Indore Declaration' built around four priorities and establishing four agricultural cooperation platforms.
Theme: 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability (BRICS)'.
India is chairing BRICS in 2026 for the fourth time and will host the 18th BRICS Summit later in the year.
The meeting was hosted in Indore, the largest city of Madhya Pradesh (capital: Bhopal).
