'Angen' (Invisible), a 12-minute-10-second Santhali short film, became the first Santhali-language film to win a National Film Award, at the 72nd National Film Awards.

Director Ravi Raj Murmu, a 34-year-old FTII Pune graduate from Jaduguda, East Singhbhum (Jharkhand), won Best Debut Film of a Director in the Non-Feature Category.

The film is a folklore-based allegory about rural-to-urban migration and its effect on indigenous language and identity, developed with students of Karim City College, Jamshedpur.
