The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board signed an MoU with the UAE Food Cluster in Amaravati on 21 July 2026 to set up a food processing cluster in the state.
CM N. Chandrababu Naidu and UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri were present at the signing.
Dubai-based Floor Masters International separately announced a Rs 100-crore food processing unit at Gangadhara Nellore, Chittoor district.
The cluster covers horticulture, aquaculture, cold-chain and logistics, targeting export markets in nearly 25 countries.
