World Brain Day 2026 is observed on July 22 with the theme 'Brain Health: Access for All'.
It is organised by the World Federation of Neurology (WFN), founded on 22 July 1957.
The 2026 theme highlights that over 3.4 billion people — more than 40% of the world's population — live with a neurological condition, with major gaps in access to diagnosis and treatment.
The day pushes governments, medical professionals and communities to improve access to neurological care, research and public education.
