The 4th meeting of the India-Denmark Joint Working Group on MSME development, innovation and intellectual property was held in Copenhagen from 24 to 28 August 2026.
The mechanism pairs India's Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, and the talks covered technology adoption, technology commercialisation and IP-led growth.
The Indian delegation was led by Dr Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner in the Ministry of MSME; the Danish side was headed by Maria Skou, Deputy Director General and Chief Operating Officer of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.
The delegation visited Aarhus University's Innovation Kitchen and the Agro Food Park on 28 August and joined the closing panel of TechBBQ, the Nordic startup event.
India-Denmark trade stood at about USD 2.05 billion in goods and USD 4.25 billion in services in 2025.
