SiCSem Private Limited's Rs 3,406.25 crore silicon carbide (SiC) device facility in Odisha has been approved by the Unit Approval Committee of Falta SEZ at its 217th meeting; the approval was announced on 15 September 2026.
The unit will come up at IDCO Infovalley-II in Arisol Mouza, Jatni tehsil, Khordha district, on 21.889 acres.
It will make 4.8 million SiC diodes and 91.2 million SiC MOSFETs a year and employ about 1,270 people.
Funding: Rs 700 crore central capital subsidy, Rs 350 crore Odisha subsidy and Rs 1,956.25 crore from the promoter.
It projects Rs 7,043 crore of exports and about Rs 4,523 crore of net foreign exchange in its first five years.

The unit is in Khordha district, near Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Its approving SEZ, Falta, is in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
