The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) said on 15 September 2026 that it has normalised all 1,45,182 discrepant pension cases of the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy on SPARSH.
IAF accounted for 1,12,638 cases and the Navy 32,544 — 100% in both; for the Army, 3,90,336 of 3,94,779 cases (98.8%) have been normalised.
In all, 5,35,518 discrepant cases have been fixed through a mission-mode special drive.
SPARSH (System for Pension Administration – Raksha) is the Ministry of Defence's web-based system that sanctions and pays defence pensions directly into bank accounts, run by PCDA (Pensions), Prayagraj.
