The 100-week 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' began on 18 September 2026 with a nationwide Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh held by the National Service Scheme (NSS) at 300 educational institutions.
The campaign is run by the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, through MY Bharat and NSS. PM Narendra Modi launched it virtually on 2 August 2026.
It rests on four pillars: Prevent, Protect, Recover and Lead. A 12-week activity calendar runs from September to December 2026.
Activities for the first Sunday, 20 September 2026, were planned across 485 MY Bharat units.
It builds on the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (2020), which has reached 34.54 crore people.
