The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs launched two portals in June 2026: the Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) and the Money Restoration Module (MRM).
GRM addresses complaints of account holders whose bank accounts were frozen or put on lien during cybercrime probes; MRM helps fraud victims reclaim frozen or recovered money.
The launch followed a review of the national cybercrime helpline 1930 chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Both portals link police forces, banks and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP).
