The National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), set up under the NCAHP Act, 2021, has finalised 18 competency-based curricula and run live online enrolment portals since October 2024 for workforce mapping across 57 recognised allied-health categories.
29 States/UTs have constituted their own State Allied and Healthcare Councils under the Act.
