The 2026 Grand Chess Tour Finals were played at the Saint Louis Chess Club in the United States from 22 to 27 August 2026.
He entered the last day six points down at 3-9, won both rapid games to lead 11-9, and held the lead through the blitz phase.
The winner's share was USD 200,000 out of a total Finals purse of USD 450,000.
