Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters at the 20th Rozgar Mela on 19 September 2026 through video conferencing.
The event was held simultaneously at 45 locations across India.
The recruits join departments including Revenue, Railways, Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, Financial Services and Defence.
With this edition, cumulative appointment letters issued under the Rozgar Mela reach about 12.75 lakh.
The government linked the drive to the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, its employment-linked incentive scheme for private sector jobs.
