UDISE+ 2025-26: 24.72 Crore Students, Pupil-Teacher Ratio Improves to 24:1

• •The Ministry of Education released the UDISE+ 2025-26 report on school education, compiled by the Department of School Education and Literacy.
• •It covers 14.67 lakh schools, 1.03 crore teachers and 24.72 crore students.
• •The overall pupil-teacher ratio improved from 25:1 to 24:1, within the NEP 2020 benchmark of 30:1.
