The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 27 July 2026 by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.
It amends the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
Proposed measures include imprisonment up to 10 years and penalties up to ₹10 crore for paper leaks.
