The 6th LG Cup Horse Polo Championship concluded on 27 July 2026 in Drass, Ladakh, with the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre defeating the Animal Husbandry Department, Leh, to win the title.
Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena attended the final and announced an increase in the prize fund.
The 2026 edition ran from 21 to 27 July, featuring 18 men's and 4 women's teams; winners received ₹1 lakh, up from ₹50,000 in the previous edition.
The 4th LG Cup Horse Polo Tournament (2024) was inaugurated at the newly built Goshan Stadium in Drass, constructed at a cost of ₹6.84 crore.
