Home Ministry told the Lok Sabha that under Vibrant Villages Programme-I (VVP-I), a combined 1,248 projects worth ₹3,065.32 crore have been sanctioned across Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Sikkim and Uttarakhand, of which 316 are completed.
VVP-I has identified 662 priority villages for comprehensive development, and ₹953.47 crore has been released to the States/UT so far.
111 road projects worth ₹2,481.93 crore have been sanctioned for all-weather connectivity to 134 unconnected villages; 528 villages now have 4G connectivity, 625 piped water, and 621 grid/off-grid electricity.
