Since inception, 1,85,651 roads (7,96,940.94 km) and 10,833 bridges have been constructed under PMGSY out of 1,98,011 roads and 12,576 bridges sanctioned — spread across the PMGSY-I, II, III, IV, RCPLWEA and PM-JANMAN verticals.
PM-JANMAN's road-connectivity component (target: 8,000 km including bridges by March 2028) has released ₹1,218 crore against a ₹4,708 crore allocation, connecting Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups' habitations.
The Vibrant Villages Programme-I has sanctioned 113 roads (1,085 km) and 35 bridges for 137 border habitations, of which 10 roads (248 km) are complete, backed by ₹996.72 crore released so far.
