Vignesh Vermula, seeded 23rd, won the Open blitz title on tie-break after finishing level on points.
Saranya Devi, the ninth seed, won the Girls' blitz title, with Prishita Gupta second and Shanmathi Sree third.
The championships are being held at the ITC Maratha, Mumbai, from 16 to 26 August 2026, hosted by the Maharashtra Chess Association.
