Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sanctioned 2,89,355 pucca houses worth Rs 3,473 crore for Rajasthan under PMAY-Gramin on 17 August 2026.
The approval letters were handed to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at a state-level event in Baran.
Rajasthan completed physical verification of 29,13,749 potential beneficiaries under the revised identification process.
Revised PMAY-G criteria let families owning a two-wheeler qualify and raise the monthly income ceiling for women from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
The Centre also cleared Rs 340.59 crore more for Rajasthan under PM-RKVY, and the state's Lakhpati Didi target was doubled from 16 lakh to 32 lakh women.
