The report's sharpest finding is on the education-employment gap: only 8.25% of graduates hold jobs that match their qualifications.
It recommends moving skilling into the school system - universal General Employability and Entrepreneurship Skills from Class 6 to 12 and vocational Kaushal Tracks from Class 9.
Fewer than one in twelve secondary schools currently offer vocational subjects, despite NEP 2020 providing for their integration from Class 6.
