Adobe announced on 3 September 2026 that Anil Chakravarthy will become its President and Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 December 2026.
He succeeds Shantanu Narayen, who moves to the role of executive chair after 18 years as CEO.
Chakravarthy will also join Adobe's Board of Directors.
He joined Adobe in January 2020 and was earlier Chief Executive Officer of Informatica for four years.
He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Varanasi, and an MS and PhD from MIT.
