Athira Suresh of Kozhikode, Kerala, was commissioned into the Indian Army as a Lieutenant on 5 September 2026 at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar.
She trained under the Short Service Commission Technical (Women) entry and was among 253 officer cadets at OTA Gaya's 29th passing-out parade.
