Gujarat announced an allocation of Rs 301 crore for 2030 Commonwealth Games preparations during the monsoon session of the state assembly on 10 September 2026.
Of this, Rs 200 crore is the host fee, already paid under the Host Collaboration Agreement; Rs 100 crore came under the revenue head in the previous financial year and Rs 1 crore is a token capital provision.
Ahmedabad will be the primary hub for the Games, scheduled for October 2030.
