Devika Rani (1969)

Anant Nag began in theatre, working in Kannada, Konkani, Marathi and Hindi, before his Kannada film debut in Sankalpa. In Hindi parallel cinema he worked with Shyam Benegal in Ankur, Nishant, Bhumika and Kondura. On television he appeared in Doordarshan's Malgudi Days, adapted from R.K. Narayan's stories. His career now spans more than five decades.
