Union Minister of State for Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh launched the India Net Zero Portal and the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) Dashboard in Mumbai on 16 September 2026, World Ozone Day.
The Net Zero Portal lets Indian entities voluntarily register Net Zero targets, disclose emissions and file annual progress updates; declarations are public and acknowledged by the Ministry.
Entities are encouraged to report Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions; Scope 3 reporting is voluntary.
The NAPCC Dashboard gives a single view of progress of the National Missions under NAPCC (launched 2008) for inter-ministerial monitoring.
Both platforms support India's national target of Net Zero emissions by 2070.
