OmniCard launched India's first UPI-based Flexi Benefits Wallet, the Flexi Benefits Basket, letting employees manage tax-saving benefits via a single digital wallet and UPI Scan-and-Pay.

Built on OmniCard's RBI-licensed Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) platform, it works at nearly 60 million UPI-accepting merchants.

Aligned with Income-tax Rules, 2026, the tax-free meal benefit rose from ₹50 to ₹200 per meal, letting employees receive up to ₹1,05,600 annually tax-free on meals alone.

Combined across categories (meals, telecom, books), eligible employees can receive tax-free benefits exceeding ₹2,00,000 annually within their CTC.
