Visakhapatnam (Vizag) Port handled 50.87% of India's marine product exports in FY 2024-25, and 48.89% in FY 2025-26 — up sharply from 29.67% in FY 2023-24.

India's marine product exports reached ₹72,325.82 crore ($8.28 billion) in FY 2025-26, with a volume of 1.93 million tonnes.

Frozen shrimp was the leading export product, contributing ₹47,973.13 crore ($5.51 billion) — over two-thirds of total export earnings.

MPEDA, a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, compiles marine export data and supports export promotion.
