Union Home Minister Amit Shah approved an advance release of ₹2,117.85 crore from the Central share of the SDRF to flood-affected States during the 2026 southwest monsoon.
State-wise: Arunachal Pradesh ₹44.55 crore, Assam ₹379.35 crore, Gujarat ₹500 crore, Maharashtra ₹500 crore (all first instalment); Himachal Pradesh ₹193.95 crore and Odisha ₹500 crore (second instalment).
