Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture announced a Rs 600-crore fund to back Yamanashi-based MSMEs that invest in Uttar Pradesh, at the state-level conference of the UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026 in Lucknow on 21 August 2026.
Four MoUs were exchanged, covering technical training, skills development, tourism and Japanese Global Capability Centres in Noida and Greater Noida.
