The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced four recipients of the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards 2024 on 2 September 2026.
Baljeet Kaur and Skalzang Rigzin were honoured in Land Adventure, Rimo Saha in Water Adventure and Shiv Prasad Chamoli for Lifetime Achievement.
There was no award in the Air Adventure category this year.
Each awardee receives Rs 15 lakh, a bronze statuette of Tenzing Norgay, a citation and a ceremonial blazer.
President Droupadi Murmu will present the awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan along with the National Sports Awards 2025.
