A virtual museum on Sri Aurobindo was unveiled at the India Space in Bharat Nivas, Auroville, on 4 September 2026.
It is a joint initiative of the Auroville Foundation, the Government of Puducherry and the Union Ministry of Culture, executed by the Central Public Works Department.
The museum uses digital touchpoints and interactive learning interfaces to present Sri Aurobindo's life, integral yoga, literature and legacy.
The exhibition includes an olfactory installation carrying the aromas of 12 flowers of spiritual significance in the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
Auroville is an international township in Puducherry founded in 1968 and administered by the Auroville Foundation under the Auroville Foundation Act, 1988.
