India's 503-athlete contingent for the 20th Asian Games was given a formal send-off in New Delhi on 8 September 2026.
More than 300 of the athletes will be making their Asian Games debut.
Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, IOA President P.T. Usha, Sports Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao and Chef de Mission Sahdev Yadav unveiled the contingent's jersey.
The Games run from 19 September to 4 October 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan; India's best haul so far is 107 medals at Hangzhou 2022.
