India endorsed the United States-led Call to Action for 6G Leadership and Security, becoming the 26th government in the grouping.
The US Department of Commerce announced India's entry after Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick met Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada on the sidelines of the G20 Innovation Ministerial.
Launched by the US National Telecommunications and Information Administration, the Call to Action pledges cooperation on secure, interoperable and resilient 6G networks, supply chains and standards for the next 12 months and beyond.
