MoSPI held a workshop of Statistical Advisers and Chief Data Officers of all Central Ministries, Departments and Organisations on 8 September 2026 in New Delhi, themed 'Data Harmonisation for Use of Administrative Data in Data Driven Governance'.
Shri Shaktikanta Das, Principal Secretary-2 to the Prime Minister, launched the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) portal on data harmonisation at qpr.mospi.gov.in.
The portal lets ministries report dataset cataloguing, metadata preparation, use of common unique identifiers and quality checks under the Statistical Quality Assurance Framework, with automated validation and cross-verification against NMDS.
