Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the INA Museum at Moirang, Manipur, and paid floral tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the site where the INA first hoisted the tricolour on the Indian mainland.
He then visited Sainik School Imphal, where he laid a floral tribute at the War Memorial and addressed the cadets on discipline, courage and leadership.
He said Sainik Schools have a special role in strengthening the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, as cadets from diverse backgrounds study and train together.
