The Ninth ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (9th AIMMAF) was held in New Delhi on 9 September 2026, organised by DARE/ICAR.
It was co-chaired by India's Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Secretary of the Philippines' Department of Agriculture, representing the ASEAN chair for agriculture and forestry.
The meeting reviewed the 2021-2025 Medium-Term Plan of Action and looked ahead to a new Plan for 2026-2030 built on four cooperation areas.
India held bilateral talks with Malaysia, Timor-Leste and Myanmar on the sidelines, covering germplasm exchange, market access, expert deputation and a pending MoU.
The Tenth AIMMAF will be convened in 2028.
Tariff liberalisation in goods trade between India and ASEAN member states.
