Amit Shah Opens India's First World Archery Para Series in Ahmedabad

•Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated the Archery Association of India's World Archery Para Series in Ahmedabad through video conferencing.
•The competition runs from 5 to 9 September 2026 with 108 athletes from 19 countries, including Bhutan, the United Kingdom, China, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Indonesia and the United States.
•Ahmedabad will host the centenary edition of the Commonwealth Games in 2030 and is India's proposed host city for the 2036 Olympic Games.

NAMASTE Cards Issued to Waste Pickers in Delhi's Najafgarh Zone

•Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale inaugurated the issuance of NAMASTE Cards to waste pickers of the MCD Najafgarh Zone at Matiala, Delhi.

•The first batch of the Corporate Mitra Course commenced with 2,879 registered learners, and the programme's Learning Management System was launched at the ICAI head office in New Delhi.
