The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) approved extending the Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana (ABVKY) from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.

ABVKY provides unemployment relief to workers covered under the ESI Act, introduced on 1 July 2018.

Eligible insured persons can receive relief equal to 50% of average daily earnings, for up to 90 days of unemployment, once in a lifetime.

Eligibility requires at least two years of insurable employment and Aadhaar-bank account linkage.
