DAANVEER, launched 29 July 2026 by MoPR Secretary Vivek Bharadwaj, lets citizens and organisations voluntarily donate verified computer bundles to Gram Panchayats through the Meri Panchayat app.
Developed by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and integrated with the DigiHaat marketplace, it offers end-to-end digital tracking from dispatch to installation.
It builds on MoPR's existing digital ecosystem — e-GramSwaraj, Meri Panchayat, Sabha Saar, AuditOnline, Gram Manchitra — to bridge the computer gap across India's nearly 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats.

DAANVEER is a citizen-participation platform within the Meri Panchayat app that lets individuals and organisations — including the Indian diaspora — donate standardised, quality-verified computer bundles directly to eligible Gram Panchayats. Integrated with the DigiHaat marketplace, it auto-populates delivery details, lets donors track contributions from dispatch to installation, and issues a digital certificate of appreciation — formalising voluntary contribution into a transparent, verifiable mechanism rather than an ad hoc donation drive.
Simple Analogy: Like a crowdfunding platform, but instead of money going to a cause, verified computer equipment goes straight to a specific village Panchayat office, with delivery tracked step by step.
