More than 13,000 tribal women and girl students performed the Dhimsa dance at the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram on 1 August 2026.
Guinness World Records recognised the performance as the largest Dhimsa dance.
The performance welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration of the airport.
Performers came from Araku Valley, Paderu, Rampachodavaram, Sitampeta and Parvathipuram Manyam.
The record attempt was organised under the leadership of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Paderu.
The performers came from the tribal agency areas of the Eastern Ghats in northern Andhra Pradesh.
