Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched the Bihar Vidya Saathi digital learning platform on 24 August 2026 through video conferencing from the Sankalp auditorium at Lok Sevak Awas, Patna.
The free platform serves about 3 lakh students of Classes 9 to 12 in roughly 700 Saraswati Vidya Niketan model schools spread across all 38 districts of Bihar.
Around 75,000 teachers are to provide one-to-one live academic support outside classroom hours, with students choosing a teacher according to their subject need.
Classes 9 and 10 get digital material and doubt-clearing in all subjects; science students of Classes 11 and 12 additionally get material for Bihar Board, JEE and NEET preparation.
The state has said the platform supplements rather than replaces classroom teaching, and will later be extended to more schools.
