India beat Sri Lanka by 72 runs in the Women's T20 Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 13 September 2026.
It is India's eighth Women's Asia Cup title overall and fourth in the T20 format. India went through the tournament unbeaten.
India made 183/5 (Shafali Verma 68, Smriti Mandhana 59). Sri Lanka were bowled out for 111, with Shree Charani taking 4/20.
The win avenged the 2024 final, in which Sri Lanka beat India to win their first title.
India refused to accept the trophy from ACC President Mohsin Naqvi, and the presentation ceremony was delayed by more than 45 minutes.
