It is the fastest T20I hundred by an Indian and by any batter from an ICC Full Member nation, beating the 35-ball mark of Rohit Sharma and David Miller (both 2017).

He made 108 off 34 balls; India posted 221/7, won by 127 runs and swept the series 3-0.

Only two Associate-nation batters are faster overall: Sahil Chauhan of Estonia (27 balls) and Muhammad Fahad of Turkey (29 balls).
