The 25th meeting of SCO ministers responsible for foreign economic and foreign trade activities was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 17 September 2026, under Tajikistan's chairmanship.
Ministers agreed the 'Action Plan for 2026-2030' to implement the SCO Programme of Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation. It now goes to the Council of Heads of Government for approval.
They approved Regulations for a Special Working Group on the Development of the Creative Economy and adopted a Joint Statement.
India was represented by Yashvir Singh, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce. The next meeting will be held in Uzbekistan in 2027.

Dushanbe is the capital of Tajikistan, a landlocked Central Asian SCO founder member bordering Afghanistan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Tajikistan is close to India's extended neighbourhood through the Wakhan corridor. Next year's meeting moves to Uzbekistan.
