India scaled up its air cargo transshipment network on 19 August 2026 at the Transshipment Excellence Centre at Terminal 2 of IGI Airport, Delhi.
The expanded network links four domestic origin stations, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad, with London and Copenhagen.
The pilot, run end-to-end by Air India from 20 June 2026 on the Chennai-Delhi-Frankfurt sector, moved 280 metric tonnes of cargo.
