China Southern Airlines will resume scheduled passenger flights between Guangzhou and New Delhi from 21 September 2026, after a roughly six-year gap.
The airline will operate one daily round trip - CZ359 from Guangzhou and CZ360 from Delhi - with Boeing 737 series aircraft.
Direct India-China air links were largely suspended around 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and stayed disrupted through a period of strained relations.
Air China resumed Beijing-Delhi flights in April 2026 and China Eastern operates Shanghai-Delhi and Kunming-Kolkata services.
