S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, ranked 26th globally and 2nd in India in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 ranking, up from 35th globally and 3rd in India in 2025.
IIM Bangalore led Indian institutions at 21st globally, with IIM Ahmedabad at 27th.
Fourteen Indian business schools entered the global top 100 and five made the global top 50, against four in 2025.
University of St Gallen, Switzerland topped the ranking, followed by Nova School of Business and Economics, Portugal, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Antai College, China.
The 2026 edition used 19 criteria, with 56% of the score from feedback by 2023 graduates and 44% from data submitted by schools.
