The 62nd APNIC Conference is being held in Mumbai from 4 to 10 September 2026, hosted by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) with the Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI) as co-host and support from the Government of Maharashtra.

IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses, capping the Internet at about 4.3 billion of them. IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses, an effectively unlimited pool, and is the only long-term route to connecting billions of mobile and IoT devices.
Simple Analogy: IPv4 is a city that ran out of postal addresses; IPv6 redraws the numbering plan.
